Masthead

Editorial standards.

A short house code. If a piece cannot meet it, we do not run it.

Independence

Editors decide what runs. Advertising, guest budgets and affiliate relationships do not assign reporters or rewrite conclusions. Sponsored work is labelled at the top and every paid link carries rel="sponsored". See write for us.

Evidence

Ingredient and UV claims lean on public sources: TGA, Cancer Council, AHPRA-registered clinicians, peer-reviewed papers. Traditional use of native plants is described as traditional use unless a trial exists. We do not invent percentages.

Skin is medical

Sudden change, bleeding, a mole that does not look like its neighbours, or pain that keeps you up is a GP or dermatologist matter. Our simple regime essays will say so. We are not your doctor.

Corrections

Material errors get a dated note. We do not silent-edit a published argument into its opposite. Contact the desk.

Images

Photographs are Creative Commons or public domain, self-hosted, and credited on the piece and the credits page. We do not run before-and-after clinic marketing as journalism.

How do I request a correction?
Use the contact form with the article URL, the error, and a source. We note material corrections on the piece.
Do you take free product?
Sometimes, for a regime test. We say so in the copy. Unsolicited mail is not a brief and does not guarantee a write-up.
