Being late is never really that fashionable, especially when it comes to personal relationships. Turning up on time shows you care about the other person’s time. Plus, you’re organised. That won’t hurt either.

Lift a finger

Chip in with the easy stuff. It’s one thing to do the heavy lifting on the big stuff. That’s nice and to some extent expected. Help with the little stuff and you’ll leave a lasting impression.

Plan Ahead

Do something special for them. More importantly, organise everything. Don’t have them do anything but get dressed. It’s one thing to suggest something to do. It’s another thing to cover off every last detail. In today’s world it’s a huge gift to not have to worry about arranging, scheduling, bringing, dropping off or picking up things. They won’t forget it, and if you do it impressively, they’ll make sure you won’t either.

Read the Signs

Sometimes people are more sensitive, tired or weary than other times. It happens to all of us. When your partner shows those signs, be aware. Be calm, take a breath and know it’s probably not you. In the long run, it works for you too. Remember, forbearance goes both ways.

Polish your shoes

It is one of the most underrated and least followed rules of dressing. Unpolished shoes can make even the otherwise best dressed man look sloppy. It’s also one of the simplest things you can do to improve your appearance. Do it often, keep them that way and it will be noticed, appreciated and impressive. We promise you.

Keep a fashionable wrist

Buy a watch. It doesn’t have to be too expensive but make it as expensive as you can. A watched goes noticed and says more about the one wearing it than you can imagine. You don’t need many, only one in fact. Just make it a nice one and you’ll look better to everyone.

Volunteer

This one is simple. It makes you more interesting, shows you care about something larger than yourself and shows a depth to you that people will gravitate towards. Plus, you’ll feel better about yourself. And we all know, that’s the key to looking your best.
